Annelise Rasmussen, M.D.

Pediatric Rehabilitation
Medicine
Annelise Rasmussen joined our department in September as an assistant
professor in the pediatric rehabilitation medicine division. Annelise completed
her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of
Colorado in Aurora, Colorado. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UC
Davis Health in Sacramento and is a board certified pediatrician. Her practice is
located at Shriners Children’s Northern California where she serves a diverse
patient population encompassing cerebral palsy, spasticity, and brain injury.
Annelise has a strong background in teaching and mentorship that makes
her a valuable addition to the department. She is also passionate about adaptive
sports, working with adaptive ballet and adaptive ski programs during her time in
Colorado.

Cosmo Kwok, M.D.
Cosmo Kwok joined our department in July as an assistant professor in the
pediatric rehabilitation medicine division. His practice is located at Shriners
Children’s Northern California where he holds various clinics including cerebral
palsy and spasticity. He also supports the inpatient and consult services for
pediatric rehabilitation at Shriners.
Cosmo completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at
Northwell Health in Manhasset, New York. He completed his fellowship in
pediatric rehabilitation medicine at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora,
Colorado. He was previously an assistant professor at Texas Children’s Hospital
in Houston, Texas. Cosmo is dedicated to medical education and currently
serves as the associate program director for the pediatric rehabilitation medicine
fellowship program. He is passionate about adaptive sports and volunteers as
an adaptive sit ski and snowboard instructor.
