Nth Dimensions Bioskills Workshop
In collaboration with Nth Dimensions, UC Davis
departments of orthopaedic surgery, dermatology, and
physical medicine and rehabilitation hosted a bioskills
event for local high school and undergraduate
students. This event is designed to provide students
with early exposure and valuable insight into
competitive medical specialties. Students participated
in hands-on workshops, interactive lectures, and
networking opportunities during the event.
PM&R sports medicine representatives Kevin Mullins
and Kevin Burnham welcomed a total of 80 students to
the event, giving them an introduction to working with
ultrasound probes.
Founded in 2004 by Dr. Bonnie Simpson-Mason,
Nth Dimensions collaborates with academic institutions,
community surgeons, and the healthcare industry to
expand opportunities in orthopedic surgery and other
competitive specialties.
Nth Dimensions is dedicated to advancing
medical education by developing and implementing
specialized programs that provide resources,
expertise, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
These initiatives
help aspiring physicians successfully match into
and complete competitive residency programs.
As a nonprofit organization, Nth Dimensions
partners with medical professionals and institutions
to address workforce shortages in various specialties.
Through innovation and collaboration, the organization prepares highly competitive residency
applicants and delivers structured, effective training
programs that support career development in
medicine.
